I wanted to stop and take the time to thank you. I have been overweight for 20 years. The bypass made me able to move and go outside. Over the years I have learned to hide my weight by clothes, dressing in the dark, etc., but this surgery has been such a boost to my confidence. I know God will forgive me because I can now look in the mirror. Wearing skimpy tops and shorts is like when I was 20 years old again. The surgery has given me so much confidence and a new attitude. Omg. I am so happy with the results of my tummy tuck. It was worth all the pain and every penny. I feel and look at least 10 years younger. My clothes fit again. I actually like getting up and getting dressed in the morning. Dr. Poggi and his staff are the greatest.
Absolutely the best! I am a bit of an overly anxious patient but Dr Poggi and his staff put me at ease during all of my pre-op and post-op appointments. Very professional and takes extreme pride in his work and it definitely shows! Dr is not happy unless you're happy. After losing quite a bit of weight from the gastric sleeve PROCEDURE, I was left with hanging skin that made me feel self conscious and not be able to fully appreciate the weight I had lost. Dr poggi made sure to go over the best options for my body and the results I wanted to achieve. Dr Poggi made sure to give me a thorough explanation of all of my options and provided references of his work to back it up. Dr. Poggi performed an arm lift on me in November 2017. I have hated my arms since my 125 lb weight loss. My arms look fabulous now. No loose skin and you can see my muscle. I have a thin scar that is not noticeable at all. Dr. Poggi made a dream come true for me!

I had a gastric by-pass in May 2001, I have lost 160 lbs. and managed to keep it off. I waited a long time to ensure I would keep the weight off before I went down the road of skin removal. Dr. Poggi and his staff were recommended to me by both my doctor and friends who were patients of his. Dr. Poggi and his staff are truly amazing to work with, they are kind, caring and there for you anytime you need them. So far, I have had the excess skin removed from my legs and the body contour completed and I am looking forward to this year to having the excess skin removed from my arms. What can i say about Dr. Poggi? He has an interesting sense of humor and made my daughter and I laugh each and every time we went to see him. He'll tell you like it is, good or bad, I get the impression his very nice nurse has to smack him upside the head every once in a while just on general purposes and he performs plastic surgery like an art form. He gave this 58 year old grandmother and mother of four the abdomen of a sixteen year old. After 4 months of looking at my before and after pictures, I still can't wrap my head around how he was able to accomplish this. Now the rest of my body is very jealous. Dr. Poggi is amazing! After breast cancer and after a not so ideal reconstruction procedure I had done out of state, he was able to fix my breasts back to where they should have been. He performed an amazing job to where I am not ashamed to show his work or to look at myself in the mirror again! I definitely refer him often. I was so pleased that I also agreed to a tummy tuck as well and again was very satisfied by his work. I would definitely see him again for more work in the future, He is the only one I trust!
Dr. Poggi removed a melanoma from my leg. During my first appointment with him, he alleviated my fears. I was convinced that I was going to die before the surgery took place. The surgical site required skin grafts. It took 2 mos for the healing to be "complete". During that time period, the high points of my life were my visits to his clinic. Everyone made me feel welcome and I was treated with care and !!great!! humor. special thanks to Dr. Poggi, Celeste, Sarah, Lucy (an entlebucher mountain dog) and one of her pups, Aspen. I will miss all of them.
In less than two years I lost half my body weight through diet alone. This left me with loose skin that was uncomfortable. I researched plastic surgeons in Wichita and had consultations scheduled with Dr. Poggi and another surgeon. After meeting the staff at Poggi Plastic Surgery, I felt an immediate connection so cancelled the second consultation.
There is a fair amount of emotional angst when facing reconstruction. Dr. Poggi, Celeste and Sarah were encouraging and compassionate. I always felt completely listened to and all my expectations were completely addressed.
I had three separate surgeries within 7 months, per my choice. The first was a 360 Body Lift with a abdominoplasty. The second was a medial thigh lift, and the third was a brachioplasty. My recovery was without complications and I am ecstatic with the results. I get to live life as a size 4, thanks to a gifted surgeon. I didn’t expect perfection but I came close.
My only regret is in not having a reason to continue seeing these wonderful people who were so instrumental in my transformation. I am grateful.
I never thought in my life i would be one to get an abdominoplasty. However, when i mentioned My self consciousness to Dr. Poggi about my tummy area, he had the best way of describing various options. Never forceful or pushy in suggesting one or other and did a great job of laying out all the information that would help me. With the information he gave, I felt good about my decision of getting one. I am 11 weeks post-surgery today, and I want to tell you how profoundly grateful I am for what you and your staff have done for me. I believe in things happen for a reason. I came to Wichita to see Dr. Hunt for fibroids in my right breast. She immediately informed me I would be badly deformed if I didn't have a partial mastectomy after she removed the fibroids. She called your office, it was your day off but you agreed to stop by your office to talk to my husband and I. Dr. Hunts office and your office both had connections to where my husband and I live. Your car you were driving that day had an antique tag from our county we live in and there were numerous other connections. I know these are silly to some but it was the first signs that we were in the right place. Then we meet you and your staff!!! Office visits, surgery, every follow up, especially the time I was afraid I had ruined the whole procedure because I got into the combine too early, I was reassured that everything was going well. I just completed the 2 month follow up visit for implant removal and breast reduction surgery with Dr. Poggi, having the implant procedure many years ago at another clinic. I spent at least 3 months looking up different doctors in the Wichita area for my breast reduction surgery, and I’m glad I chose Dr. Poggi as my surgeon!
You can tell he cares for his patients and you're not just another “patient” walking into his office. But beware, when you do book your first consultation with Dr.Poggi, you probably won’t be able to see him within 2-3 months! He was booked up at the time I scheduled my appointment. It was worth the wait, because his work is absolutely outstanding!!
I was able to get a breast reduction surgery/lift and partial liposuction on the sides of my breast, the scaring was very minimal. I'm glad i was able to get my health insurance to cover my surgery!

I was referred to Dr. Poggi after receiving a skin cancer diagnosis on my face. After he removed the cancer I had a huge hole in my nose/cheek area that took the whole side of my nose and was down to the muscle in my cheek. The first surgery required a skin graft and then 2 additional surgeries for reconstruction. Dr. Poggi did an amazing job and I love his friendly personality. I would recommend him 10 times out of 10. He is the best!

If not for helping a friend after her surgery, I would not have met Dr. Poggi. Since I am very straight forward, we had many lively verbal joisting's in which he gave me a lot to think about, primarily that the future is for me, not my spouse, not for any family members, but for me! After my first appointment in October, together we started down the road to get my body back!!!! Earlier this week, I looked down at my chest and realized that after two procedures, there is a new part of me there! It is me!!! and it does not come off at night. It has been 11 years since my breast reduction surgery. I have had 2 children since then. The cut Dr. Poggi gave me was nice. Since having my children I went up two sizes. The pain post surgery last for a week & it was controllable. I did receive steroid shots for my keloids. I am a breast cancer survivor...after multiple complications from a botched reconstruction surgery that had left me without one breast...and was let go from the surgeon. I had basically given up on the thought of being beautiful again. If you have never lost your breast you just don't understand what it is like to look in the mirror at your body.
With the encouragement (he wanted to see me happy again with myself not for him-as he loves me the way I am) and support of my Boyfriend, I decided to look for someone that might be able to help me.
I was referred to Dr. Poggi by my oncologist.. Oh how it has changed my life. From the first day I met him and his office staff, I realized I will be whole again! He asked me what I wanted to look like, not what he thought I should look like..
It was always my needs and concerns first!! So we started with the first surgery. Shortly after it my body had started to react to the expander (which I was terrified that we would have to abandon the reconstruction). I was ready to call it quits and make myself realize I would have to just deal with what I have been given but so grateful I had survived breast cancer...but oh no...Dr. Poggi would not let me give up!
He encouraged me and reassured me that it will all work. We had to go ahead and do the final surgery quicker than planned. But I now have the most beautiful breast I could ever ask for... It looks so natural and he was even able to save my breast tattoo! He may be a little goofy and funny but he has a heart of gold!!

In 2010, I had a bi-lateral mastectomy & breast reconstruction. I went into it with a very good attitude, I was being proactive!
Per a Dr’s referral, I was under the care of a different plastic surgeon. After recovering fully & being released, I was very perplexed that my breasts didn’t look good at all. Excess skin hung & they looked weird. I settled on the thought ‘well, that’s just what happens with reconstruction from a bi-lateral mastectomy!’
I ran into a friend that went thru the same experience, but with a beautiful outcome from under Dr Poggi’s care. Oh how I wished I had known about Dr Poggi when I had my reconstruction done.
Well, in January 2017, I had the opportunity for Dr Poggi to redo my reconstruction due to some complications. I told my primary doctor that I wanted only Dr Poggi going forward with any work necessary, because His work was so beautiful on my friend.

Dr. Poggi gave me my 2nd set, I asked him to make the new ones look more like boobs. He did a tuck here and there. I look down on my chest and they look like boobs. Dr. Poggi really cares what you want, and for his patients. As he says, he can't do miracles but obviously does a great job!! He is also a character, which I really like!!
Dr. Poggi and his staff are amazing! His nurse Celeste!! In the last two years, I've lost 135 pounds and as a result my chest shrunk and I have loose skin on my legs stomach back and arms. I went to another surgeon to have my boobs done and I was very disappointed in the results. One of my boobs is smaller than the other which in time I will have Dr. Poggi correct. At the other practice, I hadn't even woken up from anesthesia and they were pushing me out the door. Even with my follow up calls and appointments expressing disappointment in my breast argumentation, the other surgeon did not even offer to correct her poorly done work. After having such a poor experience at the other practice, I definitely sought out different plastic surgeons from numerous doctors and most of them referred me to Dr. Poggi.
Back in August I had a 360 full body lift which included liposuction. I can't tell you how happy I am with my side thigh being on my stomach being flat and my back being so sculpted. Celeste, his nurse, always calls me back right away his front desk team and billing department always return my call promptly and are always pleasant to talk to.
Even the center that my surgery was performed at was very clean and the staff there was amazing!! Dr. Poggi is the type of doctor that you can be brutally honest with and he's going to be brutally honest with you. The offices are always clean and I can't complain about the free coffee and water that I get while I'm there. I now have an appointment on April 5 to have my inner thighs done and I can't wait!!

What can i say about Dr. Poggi? He has an interesting sense of humor and made my daughter and I laugh each and every time we went to see him. He'll tell you like it is, good or bad, I get the impression his very nice nurse has to smack him upside the head every once in a while just on general purposes and he performs plastic surgery like an art form. He gave this 58 year old grandmother and mother of four the abdomen of a sixteen year old. After 4 months of looking at my before and after pictures, I still can't wrap my head around how he was able to accomplish this. Now the rest of my body is very jealous. Dr. Poggi removed a melanoma from my leg. During my first appointment with him, he alleviated my fears. I was convinced that I was going to die before the surgery took place. The surgical site required skin grafts. It took 2 mos for the healing to be "complete". During that time period, the high points of my life were my visits to his clinic. Everyone made me feel welcome and I was treated with care and !!great!! humor. special thanks to Dr. Poggi, Celeste, Sarah, Lucy (an entlebucher mountain dog) and one of her pups, Aspen. I will miss all of them.
In less than two years I lost half my body weight through diet alone. This left me with loose skin that was uncomfortable. I had three separate surgeries within 7 months, per my choice. The first was a 360 Body Lift with a abdominoplasty. The second was a medial thigh lift, and the third was a brachioplasty. My recovery was without complications and I am ecstatic with the results. I get to live life as a size 4, thanks to a gifted surgeon. I didn’t expect perfection but I came close.
My only regret is in not having a reason to continue seeing these wonderful people who were so instrumental in my transformation. I am grateful.

I was referred to Dr. Poggi after receiving a skin cancer diagnosis on my face. After he removed the cancer I had a huge hole in my nose/cheek area that took the whole side of my nose and was down to the muscle in my cheek. The first surgery required a skin graft and then 2 additional surgeries for reconstruction. Dr. Poggi did an amazing job and I love his friendly personality. I would recommend him 10 times out of 10. He is the best!
