In 2010, I had a bi-lateral mastectomy & breast reconstruction. I went into it with a very good attitude, I was being proactive! Per a Dr’s referral, I was under the care of a different plastic surgeon. After recovering fully & being released, I was very perplexed that my breasts didn’t look good at all. Excess skin hung & they looked weird. I settled on the thought ‘well, that’s just what happens with reconstruction from a bi-lateral mastectomy!’ I ran into a friend that went thru the same experience, but with a beautiful outcome from under Dr Poggi’s care. Oh how I wished I had known about Dr Poggi when I had my reconstruction done. Well, in January 2017, I had the opportunity for Dr Poggi to redo my reconstruction due to some complications. I told my primary doctor that I wanted only Dr Poggi going forward with any work necessary, because His work was so beautiful on my friend. I am so grateful that we have Dr Poggi in Wichita, KS. The experience, & outcome, was wonderful. The difference in the outcome was like night & day, compared to my 2010 experience. Thank you, Dr Poggi, Celeste, & the entire Office staff. You exceeded my expectations.
